With this installation, the viewer is invited to spend time in the space and notice the subtle interventions with the architecture. (Photo credit: Pablo Mason)
The intention was was to create an immersive environment where a viewer can walk through as if entering a land of light and shadow.
This installation blurs the lines between the exterior and interior landscape.
During different times of day shadows of the leaves are cast onto the gallery walls.
Fallen leaves were collected from the trees and dipped them in rubber which would hover over the cracks.
Every crack within the gallery was activated using thread and epoxy resin.
